INSTALLING YOUR SOLAR OUR PROCESS
THE FINANCIALS
Your experienced Project Coordinator will contact you to finalise deposit and repayment details. If applicable, debit payments will commence within 7 days of signed acceptance.
Specific information about your site location, roof structure and proposed solar panel layout will be gathered for the structural report. The structural report will specify how and where the solar panels should be installed to meet Australian Installation Standards
STRUCTURAL SIGN OFF
INSTALLATION
Our highly trained, Clean Energy Council Accredited Installation team will commence install of your system within 3 weeks of approval.
Following the successful installation, we will arrange for a Certificate of Electrical Safety to be issued.
FEED IN TARIFF APPLICATION
Now that the installation has been completed, an application to your electricity retailer will be made in order to have the Feed in Tariff applied to your energy bill. Regenerate Electrical will provide all the required paperwork to the retailer on your behalf. We recommend that you contact your retailer 2 weeks after lodgment to ensure the application is being processed in a timely manner. It can take up to 8 weeks or more for the Feed in Tariff to appear on your bill.
ELECTRICAL DESIGNS
Your system's final electrical design will involve:

number and type of panels to be installed,

number and type of inverters to be installed,

specification of AC and DC isolators,

cable length and sizing,
-
specification of solar sub board and network protection system as required

as well as the final connection to MSB
DISTRIBUTOR APPROVAL PROCESS
Your professionally designed system will receive regulator and distributor pre approval.
Approval from your DNSP provider may take up to 65 business days depending on the size and complexity.
HANDOVER AND POWER UP!
On receipt of final payment, we will arrange for a formal handover to take place. This includes training on how to operate your system as well as a comprehensive manual containing all the necessary supporting documentation under the CEC Approved Solar Retailer Program. We also provide your electrical retailer the paperwork allowing you to power up your new system!
